About Emily
I am a daily money manager and professional organizer with 11 years of communication facilitation training and practice. In my work, I also draw from past experiences as a bookkeeper, stage manager, and medical office manager.
For several years in the early 2000s, I took care of my medically-challenged son while taking care of my medically-challenged mother. After my mother died, I realized I had a use for all the research, resources, and bravery I had mustered. Thus, I now use my skills and experience to bring ease to preparing for what life throws at us.
I had a very close relationship with my maternal grandmother and I have always enjoyed my relationships with elders. Over the years, I have volunteered at local senior centers. Soon after I launched my organizing business, I found that I gravitated towards primarily working with clients age 65 and older.
My experience in handling the medical and special needs of my younger child also gives me experience, insight and empathy that make me uniquely suited to helping my clients navigate the healthcare system.
